While the 1.5-litre NA is paired to a six-speed manual transmission, the 1.5-litre diesel gets that along with a torque converter automatic option, and the 1.4-litre turbo petrol gets a seven-speed DCT gearbox exclusively. Tata Nexon
The Tata Nexon has been one of the most popular compact SUVs in the market and a successful offering from Tata Motor’s stable. It is one of the safest offerings in this segment. The Nexon gets packed with features as well, such as the exterior which features DRL integrated headlights, chrome bits, fog lights, an electric sunroof and more. Inside the Nexon features a three-spoke steering and also receives a touchscreen infotainment system. The car also gets features such as cruise control and Tata’s iRA connected car tech. The Tata Nexon’s engine specifications include a 1.2-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The turbo petrol unit puts down more power at 120PS and 170Nm of torque. Hyundai Venue
The Hyundai Venue was the brand’s debut in the sub-four metre compact SUV segment in 2019 and quickly gained popularity. While the Venue faces stiff competition in the segment, it quickly gained a cult following due to its large SUV looks. The Hyundai Venue’s exterior benefits from features such as a split headlight design where the projector headlights are assisted by separately mounted DRLs. The compact SUV also gets projector fog lights, LED taillights and alloy wheels among other features.
Inside the Hyundai Venue, it also benefits from an electric sunroof, an infotainment screen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
