If you’re feeling overwhelmed with your workload and need a helping hand, then you’ll love this blog post! We’re joined by anne mclaren, a freelance writer who’s spent the last few years juggling her writing career with working full-time as a copywriter.
Why does Anne need to be a Superwoman?
As a working mom, Anne McLaren knows a thing or two about being a Superwoman. She’s the founder of the popular blog “The Supermom Life”, where she writes about her experiences as a working mom and shares tips for other moms who want to have it all.
Anne’s mission is to help other moms achieve their goals and live their best lives. She does this by sharing her journey as a working mom and providing resources and advice on everything from parenting to career advice.
Anne is passionate about helping other moms succeed, and she believes that being a Superwoman is something that all moms can achieve if they set their minds to it.
How does she have time for it with three children and running her own business?
Anne McLaren is a mom of three and the owner of her own business, Anne McLaren Coaching. She’s also a popular speaker, podcaster, and writer. So how does she find time for it all?
“I don’t do it all, and I don’t pretend to,” Anne says. “What I have learned is that we can’t do it all, but we can do what’s important to us.”
Anne has learned to prioritize her time and focus on what’s most important. For example, she wakes up early to finish work before her kids wake up. Then she spends time with her kids during the day and works on her business at night after they’re in bed.
“It’s not always easy, but I’ve found that it’s possible to balance everything if you’re willing to be flexible and creative,” Anne says.
What is the best advice she has for balancing work and life?
Anne McLaren is a working mom, so she knows a thing or two about balancing work and life. Here’s her best advice for doing just that:
1. Set realistic expectations for yourself. You’re not going to be able to do it all, and that’s okay.
2. Make time for yourself. Whether taking a break to read or getting in a workout, ensure you take care of yourself physically and mentally.
3. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Whether it’s your partner pitching in more around the house or hiring a babysitter, don’t try to do everything yourself.
4. Communicate with your boss. If you need flexible hours or telecommuting options, talk to your boss about what would work best for you and your family.
5. Be present when you’re with your family. When you’re at home, ensure you’re there mentally and emotionally – not just physically present but distracted by work thoughts.
